Space is limited to 25 writers.

PLEASE NOTE: Fees cover all workshop sessions, opening night reception, some breakfasts and lunches at the venue, and light refreshments and three nights of housing (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). Additional nights can be purchased (details below).

REGISTRATION FEES

GENERAL REGISTRATION: $300
MARI SANDOZ SOCIETY MEMBER & STUDENT REGISTRATION: $250 (Students must be 18 or older)
ADVANCED WORKSHOP/MANUSCRIPT CONSULTATION REGISTRATION $30 (Limited space. See details below.)
GUEST/NON-PARTICIPANT: $60 (This registration level is for spouses, friends and significant others who plan to accompany retreat participants, but who do not intend to attend the workshop sessions. Housing is separate--see below)
- Student Scholarships/Waivers*
  - FULL WAIVER: $0 (cost to register)
  - 2/3 WAIVER: $85 (cost to register)
  - 1/3 WAIVER: $165 (cost to register)

*A limited number of workshop fee waivers/scholarships are available for student writers. Applications are available at storycatcherworkshop.org Deadline is May 10. (Early submission is recommended).

HOUSING INFORMATION AND FEES

Your registration includes our Housing Retreat Package: 3 nights, Tuesday-Thursday. We have reserved suites in the Pinnacles Apartments. Rooms are available Monday, 6/3, (for those arriving early) through Friday, 6/8 (for those staying late, departing Saturday), for the following additional charges:

Housing Add-On One Extra Night ($43) (Monday OR Friday)

Housing Add-On Two Extra Nights ($86) (Monday AND Friday)

COUPLES PLEASE NOTE: You will EACH need to register and pay for housing per the options on the registration form online, including those staying as guests (not attending/registering for the workshop sessions).

OFF CAMPUS LODGING: For those wishing to lodge off-campus, the Gunnison Valley/Crested Butte region is a popular summer tourist destination, with a wide variety of lodging and recreational options to choose from. The area is typically busy in July, so early reservations are encouraged.

REFUNDS: Due to limited space in the RETREAT, refunds can only be offered up to TEN days after registration. For planning purposes, there will be no refunds made after June 1st. (Please note that if the workshop must be cancelled for any reason, we will notify all participants as soon as possible and process full refunds—and that participants impacted by any verified health-emergency, including COVID-19, are eligible for full refund at any time).
